Residency: Bright Star +
Bright Star + is an Artist-in-Residence program that will combine theatre performance with a series of drama workshops. Share your goals and we will help create an in-depth arts-based learning experience for students and teachers. Our arts-integrated approach teaches classic literature, STEM, history, and social-emotional skills to combat bullying, all while giving students greater exposure to theatre arts.
Artist in Residency Program
- Book any of our shows for your school. Choose 1, 2 or 3 performances to be completed in the morning.
- Request the “Bright Star +” during your booking. Our booking specialist will then personalize a daily schedule for your school.
- After the show, actors will visit classrooms for an extended Q&A and some dramatic role-playing.
Pricing begins at $2,195 for a single day OR $1,995 for multiple days/multiple schools in the same district. Five Day residencies start at $7995!
Bright Star Theatre & Production Camps
Bright Star’s camp packages give students a chance to be a star! These camps engage students, build literacy and develop skills like collaboration, creativity and communication. Best of all, they can work as a fundraiser to support your programming!
Out-of-school time is incredibly important for students. Theatre camps are a great way to help students learn important skills like sharing common goals, creative problem solving and important communication skills. Bright Star Theatre Camps are a hands-on, comprehensive introduction to theatre.
What we provide: Two highly qualified actor/educators, a tested curriculum, and a collection of supplies.
What you provide: Marketing and administration.
What students provide: A positive attitude, willingness to learn, lunch and a snack.
Bright Star Traditional Camp
In this camp our actor/educators work with your students (Up to 30) to develop their own original theatre pieces for an end-of-week performance. In this camp: students write, direct, costume and perform everything from scratch. It’s a truly immersive experience.
Our camps generally run for 5 consecutive days working with the same group of students from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. On the final day a public performance and celebration caps the week!

Bright Star Production Camps
Join our exciting new Production Camps at Bright Star Theatre, where students experience the thrill of mounting a full-scale show! Under the guidance of our professional team, young performers will bring captivating productions to life, gaining invaluable skills in acting, singing, and stagecraft. We provide the scripts, costumes, and all the tools necessary to create a spectacular performance. These shows are adaptable for 30-60 students. You can charge camper fees and ticket sales at the final performance.

Once Upon a Fairy Tale: This is a high energy show that brings to life a collection of fairy tales.
Our Adventure in American History: American history has never been so much fun! Your students will have the experience of recreating famous people, famous scenes and famous speeches in this fast-paced, hilarious whirlwind through American History.
Black History A to Z: This entertaining production celebrates famous people from throughout Black History. Historical and political figures, celebrities and even some unexpected guests!

Bright Star “Add-On” Workshops
We have great workshops that you can add to your show package. Starting at just $350 for an hour-long workshop, our actor/educators can stick around after their show and share hands-on activities with your staff, students or patrons.
